Water Conservation Research

Across drought- and wildfire-prone regions, a single lawn is being asked to do more: stay green, use less water, and resist fire. This research begun at Tuskegee University and now advanced through Forsee, LLC's collaboration with Auburn University's Turfgrass Research Unit is working to deliver all three at once. Directed by founder Chera Howard, who holds a Master's in Environmental Science from Auburn University, the team is testing turfgrass management methods that keep lawns healthy and beautiful while cutting water use and strengthening fire resistance, a breakthrough that could change how homeowners and businesses care for their land.
